Grand Gathering 2021

This year’s Grand Gathering, on Sunday, August 29, 2021 will take place outside to ensure social distance!

We will have a color war, foam slip and slide, tie dying options, and more!

There will be a parent meeting at 4:30 pm, followed by the event
from 5 - 7:00 PM.

RED BAG SUNDAY | DECEMBER 6, 2020

DECEMBER 6th is RED BAG Sunday!

  • Cranberry Sauce

  • Jiffy Cornbread Mix

  • Green Beans

Please purchase ANY or ALL of these items & bring them in a RED BAG or ANY BAG on the 1st Sunday of the month.

There will be two Drive Thru Drop Off opportunities starting in September.

The first is to drive thru the Friday before Sunday collection day during normal business hours. You will drive up to the office doors, call the office to let us know you are here, and a staff member will meet you outside.

The second is to drive thru the Sunday of collection between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. On this day, you will drive up to the Sanctuary doors where a staff member will assist you in your drop off.

CHURCH-WIDE FUN DAY BINGO!

Are you looking for a fun opportunity to spend time with your church family AND have the chance to win some amazing prizes? 

Join us Sunday, January 26th for an evening of fun, fellowship and Bingo! Dinner begins at 5 PM in Anderson Gym and bingo will start shortly after that. This FREE event includes dinner and one bingo card. Additional bingo cards will be available for purchase.

UMW GENERAL MEETING

UMW General Meeting will be held Tuesday, December 3rd at 10:30 AM in the Chapel.

All women are invited. Reservations are not needed. Installation of officers will be held.
Rev. Kelly Berne will share a Christmas message.

Please bring a bottle of bath gel or body lotion for the Shreveport/Bossier Rescue Mission women in residence. Lunch at a local restaurant will follow the meeting.

Poinsettias may be brought to decorate the Chapel during this meeting.

UMY TURKEY BOWL

TURKEY BOWL 2019

This November 17th at 5 PM we will be continuing our long-standing tradition of the Turkey bowl!

What’s the Turkey Bowl, you might ask?

The Turkey bowl is a community outreach and scavenger hunt where youth and volunteers will be given routes to pick up supplies of food for the Northwest Food Bank. All types of cans, boxes, turkeys, etc. are accepted.
