Create an environment ready for people to experience the presence of God through worship

ACOLYTE COORDINATOR

Coordinate and ensure that acolytes are trained and in place for Sunday morning worship services. // January through December

CHILDREN’S MOMENT LEADER

Prepare and lead the Children’s Moment in the traditional or River services. // Any Sunday, as needed

CHRISTMAS DECORATOR

Assist in decorating the church during the Christmas season. // 3 hours, once a year

COMMUNION PREPARATION

Prepare elements for communion for worship services, clean and store communion trays and utensils. // 1.5 hours quarterly

EASTER DECORATOR

Assist in decorating the church during the Lenten season. // 3 hours during Lent

FUNERAL ASSISTANT

Provide assistance to the ministers, organist, and bereaved family as needed.  Greet and assist family members, direct them to the waiting area and sanctuary at correct time. // As needed

LITURGIST

Assist in the worship service by leading the congregation in the call to worship and offertory prayer.  Open to youth and adults. // Twice per quarter

USHER

Welcome, distribute bulletins, assist people with seating on Sunday mornings, collect offering, assist with communion, and help clean up after worship. // 1.5 hours monthly

WEDDING ASSISTANT

Provide assistance to the wedding party at Broadmoor weddings. // As needed

WORSHIP CENTER CARE

Straighten hymnals, replenish offering envelopes, prayer cards, pencils, etc. // 1 hour per month
