GABRIEL’S CLOSET

Publicize, organize, and deliver donations to Gabriel’s Closet. Run by Catholic Charities, this organization provides needed items for children, with an educational support system for parents. // 1-2 hours per month

HIGHLAND BLESSING DINNER

Serve or host a table at this neighborhood dinner for residents of the Highland area, hosted at The Highland Center. BUMC serves on the 4th Thursday. // 2 hours per month

KIDS HOPE USA

Tutor and mentor elementary students at Arthur Circle and offer support to teachers. //

30 minutes - 1 hour per week

LAYETTE MINISTRY

Make and deliver layettes to newborns at University Health Center. // 1 hour per month

MANNA BAGS

Prepare small bags of sustenance items to give to people with immediate hunger needs who come to our church for emergency aid. // 1 hour per month

MILITARY APPRECIATION

Help collect and package items to send to our military in July and help collect signed Christmas cards to send to overseas troops at Christmas time. // Twice per year

RED BAG SUNDAY

Collect food, publicize, load the truck, and deliver the food that we collect on the first Sunday of each month for Noel UMC’s Food Pantry. // Monthly

RUSSIA INITIATIVE

Each summer and winter, Broadmoor offers a mission trip to its sister church in Ekaterinburg, Russia where we lead Vacation Bible School, Bible studies, work in orphanages, prepare food baskets for the elderly, and make repairs to the church building. // Twice per year

SOUPER SATURDAY

Prepare soup to be delivered to Broadmoor members and others in our community who are homebound. // Monthly
