ERT Basic Training

FUMC Bossier will be hosting an Early Response Team (ERT) Basic Training on Saturday, April 1, from 8AM to 4PM. ERTs fill a specific need in the early days after a disaster, to clean out flood-damaged homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes, and otherwise help to prevent further damage while providing a caring Christian presence.  

Basic Training is a comprehensive course in working with survivors to help prevent further damage to their homes after a storm. Upon completion of the basic class and the proper background check, you will become a Certified ERT and will receive an ERT badge.
