Onsite Christmas Eve Worship Service
5 p.m. at BUMC

Your worship team has been working hard this year to make sure we bring you the most meaningful Christmas Eve service we can while still following all safety guidelines. Because none of us could fathom holding a Christmas Eve service without being able to sing, we have come together to offer you this unique opportunity!

We will gather for an outside Christmas Eve Candlelight Service in the parking lot of BUMC at 5 p.m. We are requesting to have the block of Albany closed between Youree Dr. and Anniston Ave. so that those wanting to set up chairs in front of our outside stage area can do so safely. For those wishing to stay in their cars, we will have the service available through an FM transmitter. 

With these guidelines in place, we will be able to safely partake in all of our beloved Christmas Eve traditions. Everyone will have access to communion elements as well as candles for our special Silent Night moment. What an amazing opportunity for us to gather as the Body of Christ, sing together for the first time in months, and literally bring the light of Jesus out of the building and into the world. We look forward to sharing this special moment with our church family and community. Communion elements and candles are available at the church. You may pick them up before or after worship, or during regular business hours. If picking up during our regular business hours, please call ahead and let us know you are on your way to pick up an Advent Box.
