Adopt a Teacher through Kids Hope!

We are looking for volunteers to Adopt A Teacher through our Kids Hope “ P.A.L. “ program at Arthur Circle Elementary.  PALs “Provide Another Love”, in this case a teacher, by agreeing to provide encouraging notes and small treats on a monthly basis to a teacher throughout the year.  We are encouraging individuals, families or groups who would like to be part of our outreach to our neighborhood school Arthur Circle, by fostering a relationship with a teacher.  There is very little PTA support at Arthur Circle and we feel BUMC can assist these teachers by being a support system for them.

If you are willing to be a PAL, you will be assigned a specific teacher with whom we hope you will form a special relationship over the course of the school year. We have even come up with a monthly list to make this easy for everyone. Our hope is that the teachers at Arthur Circle Elementary will feel supported and appreciated from the prayers, encouragement and special treats that our PALS provide.

We will have a sign up table Sunday, October 20 and Sunday, October 27.
