If you’re in the downtown area on October 7 at 10:40 in the morning, look up to the top of the Beck Building. If you have your binoculars handy, you might be able to see me, your friendly neighborhood pastor rappelling 232 feet down the side of the building!
Last month, the call went out for brave souls to go “over the edge” for the Fuller Center, a local non-profit organization focused on building homes, lives and communities. I pledged to do my best to raise $2000 for the Fuller Center. If I made it half way, I could rappell down the Beck Building.
I’m both nervous and excited to announce our first goal of $1000 has been reached! With your help, we’ve raised almost $1200! If you’d like to make a donation and have not yet had the opportunity, you can write a check to Broadmoor UMC and put Fuller Center in the memo.
Thanks to everyone for lending a hand and supporting the Fuller Center!
Grace and peace,
P.S. Don't worry. I'll be careful.
