The apostle Peter had the courage to go over the side of a boat to walk on water in the midst of a storm. I think I have the courage to go over the edge of the Beck building, so long as it’s for a good cause … and this is!
The Fuller Center works to provide affordable housing for veterans and working low-income families. Their mission to build homes, build lives and change communities is one to support. Members of Broadmoor UMC have had a hand in supporting the Fuller Center. Now we have a new opportunity to take that support and push it over the edge.
I will be supporting the Fuller Center by volunteering to rappel down the Beck building in downtown Shreveport. I need your help to do this! If we can raise $1000 I will qualify to join other Fuller Center Supporters in rappelling down the building on October 7, 2017. I challenge our church to double that and raise $2000 for local housing.
If you’d like to jump over the edge with me, you can join Team Broadmoor and reserve a spot to repel and raise money for the Fuller Center through the “Take a Leap for Housing” fundraiser. Together let’s support the Fuller Center in going above and beyond!
