Pathway Groups provide an opportunity to participate in a small group of 8-10 people in an effort to grow in your faith, develop long-life friendships, share concerns of life, keep each other accountable in your walk with Christ, and develop a richer, more fulfilling prayer life.
Young Women's Pathway Group Begins Wednesday, September 7
This new Pathway group for young women meets weekly to share life events and to listen for God’s presence in the events of our lives. It is characterized by openness, receptivity and listening. Led by Laura Vaughan & Kelie Taylor on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:30 in the Prayer Room.
Wednesday Pathway Group Begins Wednesday, September 7
Our Wednesday Pathway group uses Lectio Divina, a slow, contemplative praying of the scriptures or of various writings. Come and join us as we listen for God’s presence and direction. Led by Mary Virginia Taylor on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 in the Parlor.
Monday Morning Pathway Group Begins Monday, September 12
Join the Monday Pathway group as they journey with writer Anne Lamott through her book Small Victories: Spotting Improbable Moments of Grace. Lamott offers a new message of hope that celebrates the triumph of light over the darkness in our lives. Our victories over hardship and pain may seem small, she writes, but they change us—our perceptions, our perspectives, and our lives. Led by Callie Hamm & Laura Vaughan on Monday mornings from 10:30-11:30 in the Parlor.
