Wesley Heritage Tour | July 11-19, 2017
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to walk in the footsteps of John Wesley and the men and women that formed our Methodist heritage? We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join Dr. Greg Davis in Europe to experience the places and history of Wesley’s heritage. This trip departs the USA on July 11, 2017 and arrives in England on July 12.
You will spend seven nights in a first-class hotel while you journey through places with Methodist history. You will visit Birmingham, home of Francis Asbury, the first Methodist bishop in America, who was sent to America by John Wesley. You will explore Epworth, John Wesley’s childhood home. You will see Oxford University, where the Wesley brothers attended school. You will travel to London and see the ways Wesley left his mark throughout the city and country. And much more!
If you would like to hear more about this tour, plan to attend one of two informational meetings with Dr. Davis on Sunday, June 19 at 9:30 a.m. or 12:05 p.m. You may also pick up for an informative brochure at any time in the church office, or view the PDF here.
