Join us on Saturday morning, February 18, from 9 a.m. to noon as Walter Jr. leads us in a time of Audio Divina and Centering Prayer followed by a Hope and Healing Service. For many of us, music is often a transcendent experience, lifting us above the worries and distractions of daily life. Consider using music as a doorway into prayer and cultivating your ability to listen with the ear of your heart. We call this Audio Divina, or sacred listening. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. Join us as Walter leads us in these two ways to pray. Cost is $15. Register at the Welcome Center or online below. Contact Laura Vaughan for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org.
