Our third annual Festival de Noël was a perfect way to kick-off the Christmas Season. This event will grow and touch more and more people over the coming years. In an effort to keep the excitement and momentum of this great event going throughout the year we have created the Festival Arts Series. This series will bring arts events to Broadmoor throughout the year. All proceeds gleaned from these events will go toward supporting the annual Festival de Noël!

Musical Groups

Glory Sounds is for children who are in 1st-5th grades.  These kids sing in the worship services and special events, as well as present an annual Christmas Musical.  Rehearsals are held during the school year on Sundays at 4:00 pm.  They also take their musical abilities “on the road” to area nursing home and assisted living facilities.

The youth choir is an exciting, dynamic, involved group of young people who love and support each other, serve God and the church, travel together and, at the heart of what they do, sing together in worship once a month as well other special occasions.  The youth choir meets every Sunday afternoon at 3:45 in the choir room.  Come be a part of an exciting small group led by Adam Philley, Director of Music Ministries.

The Chancel Choir is our adult choir that sings at 11:00 Traditional Worship services.  Led by our Director of Music Ministry Adam Philley, this choir sings a variety of sacred music selections and always has a great time doing so.  Choir practice is on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 in the choir room.  Anyone is welcome to join at any time!

The Super Senior Singers group is generally comprised of adults 65 and older.  They sing every Thursday morning at a different nursing home in the Shreveport-Bossier area.  They meet a few times a year to rehearse their wide variety of classic songs.  Anyone is welcome to join them at any time, and if you have questions, contact leader Mary Caldwell at

The River Praise band plays music during the River Contemporary Worship Service on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. in the gym.  Comprised of singers, guitar and bass players, a drummer, and a pianist, the band practices on Sunday mornings before the service.  If you play an instrument or sing and are interested in playing with the band, contact worship leader Dallas Weeks at

The Carillon Ringers is our handbell choir led by Mary Caldwell.  They play in worship many times throughout the year, and practice every Monday evening from 7-8.  If you have handbell experience and wish to join them, contact Mary Caldwell at
