Adult Music
Chancel Choir - This is the primary adult ensemble. It is open to anyone college age and older. The Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for the 11 a.m. worship service as well as presenting at least two major programs each year. Special trips and appearances are now being planned for this group in the months ahead. Rehearsals are each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. A nursery is provided. Praise Team - Singers and instrumentalists who lead in our Praise and Worship Service on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in Anderson Hall. Rehearsals are on Thursdays start at 7:00 p.m. Contact Dr. Mark Martin to participate. Men’s Quartet - auditioned men’s choral ensemble. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. Contact the Director of Music Ministries if interested in participating. Women’s Ensemble - Auditioned women’s choral group. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Contact the Director of Music Ministries if interested. Carillon Ringers - This adult bell choir is open to adults who have had some musical background. The ringers participate regularly in worship services. Concerts, workshops and festivals are included in this group’s schedule. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Angelus Ringers - Any older adult with an interest in ringing handbells, whether they have previous musical experience or not, may become a member of this group. The ringers perform at area retirement communities and nursing homes. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Brass Ensemble - If you play a brass or wind instrument and are interested in this ministry, contact the Director of Music Ministries.
