It is our hope that each person who attends Broadmoor may grow in their knowledge and understanding of God's Word so that they can make the right choices and strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Sunday School classes offered represent all ages and stages of life, small groups and large groups.  Bible studies and Christian life studies.  Visit more than one, them make your choice.  If you have an idea for a new class, share it with our Program Director (Bonnie Daniel - 861-0586) or Nurture Program Area Leader (Cynthia Kinel - 869-4310).

Achievers Fellowship - Room 202
A class of married and single adults, ages 70+.  Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Series.

Cornerstone - Room 306
A class of married and single adults in their 50's and 60's. Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Series.

Couples - Pearce Hall
A large class of adults, ages 65+ in which singles outnumber couples and discussion and participation are encouraged.  Begins and ends each Sunday with coffee and visitation.  Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study series.

Uprooted   Room 314

A class especially for college age students taught by Tommy and Debbie Kerr. Some attend when they are home during school breaks and others attend school locally.

 

Koinonia   The Parlor

A class especially for young adults in the twenty-something age group. A place where you can find God's purpose for your life and fellowship with kindred spirits.

Fidelis Bible - Meeting Room
A class for ladies age 65+, who "aim to call, visit and keep in touch with each other and have quarterly fellowship lunches." Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study series.

Friendship - Room 210
A class of  ladies 70+,  "who seek earnestly to live up to the name we bear".  Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible study series.

Good Shepherd - Room 307
A class of married and single adults in their 30's - 50's.  They study the books of the Bible.

Covenant Tigers - Room 312

This Bible Study Class is for those adults who would enjoy learning about the Bible from a current theological perspective, which puts emphasis on God's love.

 

Life Preservers   Room 303

A class that enjoys discussing the day's scripture and delving deeper into The River sermon.

 

Living Faith   Room 311

This class is open to all ages of people who desire Bible study and discussion.  Currently studying Max Lucado's Experiencing the Heart of Jesus.

 

The New Centurions    Chapel

A class of adults of all ages, single and married, currently studying James W. Moore's Some Folks Feel the Rain, Others Just Get Wet.

 

Searchers - Room 300 -

A class of couples and singles who have children in high school and college. They typically discuss various subjects, many times using video series, or the Common Lectionary as a study guide.

Upper Room - Room 200
A large class of married and single adults of all ages, college age or grown children. Lively discussions! Uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study Series.

Women's Class - Room 315
A small group of women of all ages who enjoy fellowship, sharing and learning together. Currently studying Jesus Revealed by Mark H. Roberts.
